Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, a fictional school located in Bunkyō, Tokyo. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and vests. Combined with her large glasses and tousled short hair, Haruhi's look causes her to be confused for a boy.
Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, the working place of the Ouran Host Club, a group of six attractive male students (Takashi "Mori", Mitsukuni "Hunny", Kaoru and Hikaru, Tamaki, and Kyoya) who spend their time charming and entertaining the school's girls for profit. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over a vase valued at ¥8,000,000, estimated to be $80,000.
In order to pay off the large debt, Haruhi is employed as the club's "dog" and constantly ordered to do menial tasks like serving food or cleaning up. The Club president, without knowing she is really a girl, promotes Haruhi to "host" as soon as he discovers her potential. Even after the truth comes out in the Club, Haruhi continues the charade and is allowed to pay off the rest of her debt working as a host; provided she conceals her true identity/gender from the customers.

Its a Comedy Romance directed toward pre teen and teen girls,I hear that the anime and manga are pretty much the same so it all depends if you like reading or watching better (me watching).My Fav episode was probably 10 (But I LUV them all)Also my Favorite character is Hikaru. I was really sad when It ended because I know I will never find an anime as good as it ever again - I really wish there where more episodes *cries* - But overall its extremely addictive, entertaining and offers a laugh now and then with a little bit of romance, I think any girl would LUV this anime-

isn't there any season 2 on ouran high school club?? i just love this anime, and i think most of the viewers who love ouran high school are not satisfied with just this 26 episodes.. there was no confession of love between the characters, so i was kinda looking for that though. i wish there could be season 2.. i love ouran high school.......
I LOVED EPISODES 5 and 13 lol i think i loved the twins fighting and Haruhi in Wonderland lol, i loved how Tamaki and Hikaru love her and how Tamaki Senpei calls him her Daddy lol, i was almost always laughing my but off just wish Vic sang the ending song it was alot better with him singing it . . . . . i wish there was more guess ill have to fanfiction it like some of the others lol
